How to Make a MySpace Train

Aug 28, 2009 04:47 PM

If you have a layout, contest, site model agency, or any other myspace type of site, it is a good idea to either join a train, or even better make a train.

Come up with a train name. Make sure its original and you may want to look around at other trains to make sure your name isn't already used. If its not original, it may start unwanted trouble. :)

Think about how many friends you need to be in the train. Think about how many friends you have, first.

Once you have that down, make up a design. Its best to draw it out first so when your designing it on the computer, you don't have to make more than one.

Before coding your sign, make a blog with the rules, who to add, and any more information you want them to know.

THIS IS OPTIONAL: make an application before coding sign. If you're putting it on your blog, that's OK. If you making it into a different blog, then set BLOG1 private until you've finished the application. After you finish the application, make a link to that application on BLOG1. Set your blog to public, now.

Next, code your sign and put it on your profile.

Make a code much like a support code for your train.

Get people to join, and add their picture (code it just like your sign) to your train code.

Tips

  • It is okay to design your sign on paint or photobucket, it doesn't have to be fancy shmancy unless you'd like it to be.
